Anita Sherman CPAIn honor of March being Women’s History Month, Anita Sherman, CPA, Managing Partner of Greenwalt CPAs has been selected as one of four women featured in the First Quarter 2011 issue, titled “Transcending Businesses – A Look at Four Hoosier Women Excelling in Various Fields,” in Indiana Minority Business Magazine. The article states how women are breaking the barriers in various fields of business, as well as profiling the four women selected.

“I am honored to be recognized, but I have had the good fortune of working with many good people who have mentored and helped me along the way.  Without that kind of guidance and support, I wouldn’t be where I am today.  So I am a firm believer in the role of mentoring.  I am also proud to see women achieving numerous leadership roles, not only in the not for profit sector but in business as well,” states Anita Sherman, Managing Partner of Greenwalt CPAs.

“Anita has been, throughout her career, a leader in the CPA profession, serving as Chair of numerous CPA Society committees and as Chairman of the Indiana CPA Society.  She has served and provided leadership to numerous not for profit organizations that serve our community, and she has been a leader and role model in our firm.  So it is fitting and well deserved to see her recognized by the Indiana Minority Business Magazine during Women’s History Month”, shares Larry K. Greenwalt, Chairman of the Board of Greenwalt CPAs.

Greenwalt CPAs is an Indianapolis-based business and financial advisory and CPA Firm with eight partners, and industry teams in the areas of Construction, Entrepreneurial Services, Employee Benefit Consulting & Administration, Professional Services Organizations, Family Owned Businesses, Manufacturing & Distribution, Not-For-Profit, Information Technology and Financial Planning.
