Day of Caring at the Julian Center

Late August, 15 members of our firm worked at the Julian Center through the United Way Day of Caring Program. The Julian Center is one of the largest facilities of its kind in the country and has been nationally recognized as a model for communities seeking to improve their responses to domestic violence. Each year the Julian Center reaches out to 6500 victims. The facility houses a little over 100 clients including children at any one given time. It is a facility that offers emergency and intermediate housing.

Greenwalt CPAs helped in spackling repairs in 21 rooms, worked in the gardens by pulling weeds and cleaning up. This month, another group of employees will be volunteering at Gleaners.
