Anita joined Greenwalt as a manager in 1985 and became a partner in January 1989. Anita was elected as the firm’s managing partner in 2011. She has been the Director of Audit and Other Assurance Services and is the founder of our Construction and Not-for-Profit Groups. She continues to provide leadership to these groups by assisting the current directors. Anita is the current director of the firm’s Manufacturing & Distribution Services Group.
Anita is a past chair of the Audit and Accounting, Construction and Real Estate Committees of CPA Associates International, Inc. She also has performed peer reviews on other CPA firms.
Anita is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and currently serves on the Council of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is a past chairperson of the Manufacturing, Ethics and the Audit and Accounting Committees and, during 2008, completed her service as Chairperson and board member of the Indiana CPA Society.
An active contributor to her community, Anita has previously served on the board of Westview Hospital and has been involved in the United Way of Central Indiana, serving on the Board of Directors and as chair of the allocation process. She served as Treasurer for the United Airlines Relocation Program (a joint effort between the Indianapolis Economic Development Corporation, Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors and Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis). A graduate of Manchester College, Anita has served on the Manchester College Alumni Association Board. She was also a member of the Board of Directors and Finance Committee for the Central Indiana Council on Aging (CICOA).
In October 1995, Anita was nominated from among all Indiana CPAs and received the Public Service Award from the Indiana CPA Society. She also received the 1996 Public Service Award from the American Institute of CPAs.
Proving that she is not one to rest on her laurels, Anita continues to be recognized for her efforts, recently being named the Indiana CPA Society’s 2009 Outstanding CPA in Public Practice, 2010 Manchester College Alumni Honor Award, Indianapolis Business Journal’s 2010 “Women of Influence” Award and 2009, 2010 and 2011 Indianapolis Monthly Magazine’s “Five Star Wealth Manager” – Business Planning Category.
