Rich graduated from Manchester College in North Manchester, Indiana in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He then earned a Master of Accountancy degree in 1995.

Rich joined Greenwalt in May of 1995 working in the Audit and Other Assurance Services department, where he performed compilation, review, and audit services in addition to corporate tax work. During 1997, he transferred to the firm’s Technology Services department, where he is responsible for the internal technology systems for the firm. He is currently the Manager of Greenwalt’s Technology Services Group. In 2001 Rich became a CITP, Certified Information Technology Professional, which is a designation from the AICPA. Projects have included network design, installation and administration, general pc desktop level onsite and phone support, internet access setup and configuration, accounting software installation and support, and system and software training as well as general technology consulting. Rich is also the network administrator for Greenwalt and is responsible for all technology training for the firm.

Rich is a member of the Indiana CPA Society, where he been the past chair of the Technology Committee. Rich is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
