Tim joined Greenwalt in 1997 after graduating from Franklin College with a B.A. in Accounting. Tim became a partner in September 2008.
While Tim has been involved with clients in a number of industries during his career, including manufacturing, distribution and not-for-profit organizations, he specializes in serving clients in the construction sector and in performing audits of employee benefit plans. He provides audits and reviews of financial statements, tax planning and compliance and business consulting services such as strategic planning and job schedule analyses. He does this while focusing on being attentive to his clients and anticipating their needs to help them be more successful. In addition to being the Director of Construction Services, Tim is the Co-Director of the Employee Benefit Services Group.
Tim has been a presenter and article writer for several construction associations and publications during his years in public accounting. He has given talks to associations such as the Indiana Subcontractors Association, Indiana Association of Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors, Asphalt Pavement Association of Indiana, Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association and the MidAmerica Cooperative Council. His topics have included benchmarking and ratio analysis, fraud, best practices for contractors and how to read contractor financial statements.
Tim is a member of the Indiana CPA Society, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, CPA Associates International – Construction Committee, Indiana Subcontractors Association, and the Indianapolis Landscape Association. Tim currently serves as the treasurer for the Electric League of Indiana.
Tim is also active in his church and loves playing and coaching baseball.
